Why not just keep updating? This could be an almost regular thing!
If I only update when I'm super bored.. then there will be a new post only once every few minutes :)
So, let's see.
Monday night Ed asked if I wanted to see Superman at the IMAX theater at the Franklin Institute. I answered with a 'heck yes'. By the time it was time to get going, apparently we lost half the people we were going with. It ended up being Ed, me, Jamie, and two youngsters with dirty mouths. We let one of them drive, and THAT was an adventure. We survived, parked, got inside.. and the guy laughed at us because it was sold out. Niiiice. Ed was going to buy tickets online *sure*, but that smarty decided it was better not to. We bought nachos and drinks, sat there, tried to figure out the best way to sneak in.. (I forgot my purse.. I forgot my baby) then we gave up and went to Ed's to watch LAME movies. I sorta fell asleep on his couch during "Kicking and Screaming", and then Jamie and I left.
On Tuuuesday I put on my very adorable red shirt with blue and white stars ($4.88 ;)) and expected to have a wonderful Fourth of July. And when is it NOT wonderful? I guess when it rains. No one was doing much, and everyone was unsure about the happening-ness of the fireworks. I collected a bored Jamie, and summoned a bored Megan.. and we partied ourselves. We watched some Avery step-touches, and then we got cake, pie, and.. soup at 5 points, and entertained the poor Greek waiter.
"Diet coke..."
"Hi!!!"
So we just came back here, talked about people, watched part of "Loose Change" and called it a night.
I thought I had to work today, but Clementon Park closes at the sight of a raindrop now, so nope. And that was pretty sucky, because I really needed to talk to a manager about a few things. Not to mention, goodbye to another 40 something dollars. I had nothing to do allll day. I only left the house once.
Then something and someone annoyed me. But what else is new?
And the Phillies are losing, but not so horribly
