Yesterday was such a hard day to go through. Finding out about one death is always terrible, but two.. Two amazing, young guys who died on mother's day. I didn't know Brian, except that when he talked to us as 8th graders and underclassmen, you could just tell he was so smart and so into music. He had so much to give.
And Chris. One of the most beautiful people ever. Outside and in. I never saw him upset or angry. I am so thankful for his friendship, and I am in total denial and will be for a long time. I couldn't stand marching band my freshman year.. but I had the best time with Chris. My bitch 76 who stood behind me in the basics block and made everyone around him laugh when we were trying as hard as we could to keep a straight face. To me, he was just totally flawless. And he put up with a lot, amazingly. I really hope Chris knew how wonderful he was. I know everyone who knew him had so many extra smiles in their lives.
I love you Chris.. and I think you kicked everything that stood in your way's ass more than anyone could. You were so strong and so brave. I've told you before, and I will again- you are my hero.
iNo me gusta!
